Our Story
Thirty-five years of asking one question: how should this be lit?
fotoskiasis took its first steps in 1990, designing theatrical lighting alongside leading names of the Greek and international music scene. The discipline of setting colour on stages — theatres, concerts and entertainment venues — was the foundation for everything that came next.
That passion for shaping space with light expanded into architecture. With long-term, hands-on experience we became specialists in architectural and theatrical lighting design — pioneering work in Greece at a time when the field barely existed here. Today our studio undertakes lighting studies for interior and exterior spaces of every kind: hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars, chain stores, tourist resorts and private residences.
Alongside the studio, we operate a curated shop of premium rechargeable LED table lamps from Zafferano, Imagilights and Sister Light — many of which we specify in our own hospitality projects.
